Mel Hansen (Stockton North, CA Rotary Club - Dist. 5220) is the director of the Seeds of Hope program. Mel provides high quality vegetable seeds to many countries in Central America. The nuns at the convent in Zacualpa have a home and community garden program in the rural area. This box of seeds, that Mel donated, will be used in that program. George, the man holding the seeds, is our translator. He is a local citizen of Zacualpa.
